Application to the 1st Training School is Now Open!

The 1st SIGMA-1EUROPE Training School “Modern drug discovery approaches in the field of sigma-1 receptor modulators” is designed for Young Researchers, PhD candidates and post-doctoral fellows affiliated with institutions in COST Full Members, Near Neighbour Countries, and other participating countries.

It’s aim is to provide advanced scientific training on drug discovery methodologies in the field of sigma-1 receptor modulators, supporting excellence, interdisciplinarity, and pan-European collaboration.

Location: Department of Drug Sciences and Department of Biology and Biotechnology, University of Pavia, Italy

DatesMarch 30 – April 2, 2026 (duration: 4 full days)

Participationfree of charge, in-presence only (mandatory)

Travels and daily allowance reimbursement according to COST rules (daily allowance120 euros – up to 600 eurostravels up to 400 euros for Europeans)

Maximum trainees: 27

Selection of Applicants will be conducted based on the motivation letter and CV and also to guarantee participation from different countries.
